Seeds
A small, limited catalog of rare heirloom seeds — some grown here, some sourced from the places she did.
The seed catalog is small and deliberately so. Each winter I save seed from the most distinctive varieties in the cutting garden — chocolate cosmos, heirloom sweet pea, scabiosa, unusual bachelor's button — and package a limited number for sale by inquiry.
Alongside the saved seed, I offer a rotating selection of rare heirloom varieties I don't grow myself. I grow a few, I source the rest from the same places she did: small specialty houses, conservatory plant sales, a couple of older seed librarians who know what you mean when you ask about torch lily or Himalayan blue poppy.
Seeds are inquire-to-buy for v1 of the site. Send a note with what you're looking for; I'll reply with what's available, the count, and any growing notes for the Piedmont climate.
